Abstract: A theoretical analysis has been developed to predict the resistance of a simplified ship shape in water of uniform restricted depth near a wall at high sub-critical and super-critical speeds. The results of numerical calculations have been compared with experimental data for a fast round bilge displacement hull and have shown good agreement.
