Abstract: The paper presents the experimental results showing a specific behavior of high-temperature superconductors in various electric circuits. Self-oscillations of temperature and current in the superconductor manifest themselves as sharp peaks of voltage across the superconductor on the background of a basic signal. It is shown that these oscillations can also appear when a superconductor is in flux creep regime. In inhomogeneous superconducting samples, the oscillations are associated with cyclic movement of normal or resistive zones.
