Abstract: ARENA is a graphical tool designed to map the business environment. Like other managerial tools such as the Gant diagram and the Pareto diagram, the ARENA provides a concise single picture of the external actors influencing the organization's value that can be used for decision making. The paper presents the ARENA model and demonstrates its applications. Cases are described and the ARENA is compared to existing models.
