Abstract: The general theory of rational decisions is a latent prescriptive theory of strategic management, with the organization cast as a plurally-rational agent. Plural rationalities are isomorphic to key organizational strategy concepts. This isomorphism carries several implications for theory and research in strategy and rationality. It also underpins some new techniques of strategic analysis.
