Abstract: Since the outbreak of COVID-19, wearing masks outside has become a daily habit. In view of the current problems of low accuracy and lack of non-standard detection of mask wearing, a detection method for mask wearing based on key points is proposed. First, the YOLOv7_tiny algorithm is used to detect whether the face is wearing a mask, and the resulting ROI (Region of Interest) is scaled to a fixed size. Then, the key point detection algorithm was adopted to extract 68 key points of the face from the ROI region, and the image segmentation of the mask area is performed …simultaneously. Finally, the correspondence between face landmarks and the mask area is used to assess whether the mask is worn correctly. The experimental results show that the average detection speed of this method in the natural environment is about 14FPS, the mAP (mean Average Precision) of whether to wear a mask is 66.34%, and the detection accuracy of whether to wear a mask is 96%, which can effectively meet the actual application requirements. Abstract: Due to limitations in computing power, the passive radar based on GNSS signal may not be able to use all the GNSS signals, requiring to make signal selection. Based on CRLB, a new radiation sources adaptive selection method for passive radar is proposed. With the goal of minimizing the CRLB of GNSS signals and the number of GNSS signals as constraints, an adaptive selection model is established. Simulation experiments were conducted using the selection model and particle filter algorithm. Experimental results show that the calculation accuracy of this algorithm is slightly lower than the tracking results obtained using all six …satellites, but the calculation time is greatly reduced, reducing the requirement for radar computing power. Abstract: Randomness of grain boundaries makes it difficult to reach a broad consensus about mechanical properties of polycrystalline graphene (PG). In the present paper, based on principle of Voronoi diagram, the models of PG with different grain sizes were established, and the fracture mechanism and mechanical properties were investigated by molecular dynamics (MD). The results showed that the crack initiation point of PG always located at the multiple junction of grain boundaries, and the crack propagation and fracture mode of PG was mainly dependent on not only the relative size but also the relative location of the indenter and grain boundaries. …Additionally, the effects of grain size, indentation speed, temperature and indenter diameter on the mechanical properties were studied, which showed some interesting and different phenomena from the tensile case, e.g., the grain size seems no regular effect on mechanical properties. Furthermore, the ultimate indentation force, indentation depth and fracture showed an increase trend with the increase of indenter diameter and indentation speed, while they decreased with the increase of temperature. But when it came to the elastic modulus, it showed a decreasing trend with the increase of indenter diameter and indentation speed, while it first increased and then decreased with the increase of temperature. Abstract: In the direction of better resolution of time lag, nonlinearity and uncertainty in the heating system, a BPNN-PID (BP neural network PID) controller is proposed in this paper. A complete heating auto-control system is designed with the experimental platform of a university heat exchange station in Zhangjiakou as the research background. The auto-control system takes Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as the control core, uses BPNN algorithm to optimize the PID control parameters, and finally takes outlet temperature of 1# plate exchanger as the main control parameter to conduct experimental research on BPNN-PID control and single-loop feedback control respectively. The results …show that compared with the single-loop feedback controller, the PID control based on BPNN algorithm has superior control quality, with shorter adjustment time, smaller overshoot, finer control accuracy and stability. Abstract: Safety is the lifeline of civil aviation. With the advancement of technology, human factors have become the primary factor affecting aviation safety. Among these, human errors in air traffic control (ATC) account for a significant proportion of aviation accidents. In order to investigate human errors in ATC, this paper introduces two common human factors conceptual models – the Reason model and the HFACS model, and analyzes the specific application of the HFACS model in aviation. It is found that the HFACS model can effectively establish a classification system for human errors in ATC. Moreover, this paper combines the HFACS model …with AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and uses the HFACS model to establish a first and second level indicator system for human errors in ATC. We calculated the weights of each specific factor using the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The results show that the most significant influencing factor in the first level indicators is organizational factors, while the most significant influencing factor in the second level indicators is Air Traffic Resource Management. Among the 13 second level indicators, the smallest weight is the controller’s violation. Based on the calculated weight results, in order to improve the safety level of ATC, the first step should be to improve the level of ATC organizational management. This is also of great significance for improving the safety level of the entire aviation system. The findings of this study suggest that the HFACS model, combined with AHP, can be an effective tool for identifying and analyzing human factors in ATC and ultimately improving the safety of the aviation industry. Abstract: The heat source tower heat pump system is widely used in large and medium-sized air conditioning systems due to its good energy-saving advantages. However, there is no relatively reasonable evaluation system for the applicability of heat source tower heat pumps due to significant regional climate differences. Therefore, in order to better comprehensively evaluate the applicability of the heat source tower heat pump system, a comprehensive evaluation index system for the applicability of the heat source tower heat pump system was first constructed. On the basis of this evaluation index, an applicability evaluation model based on backpropagation neural network is constructed. …In response to the slow convergence speed and susceptibility to local values in the application process of this evaluation model, particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to improve it. A comprehensive evaluation model for the applicability of heat source tower heat pumps based on improved backpropagation neural networks has been constructed. For the evaluation model constructed in the study, experimental data from four different regions were selected for validation. The experimental results show that in the training set, the F-Measure value of the evaluation model reaches 0.949, and in the test set, the F-Measure value of the model reaches 0.973. The comprehensive evaluation data from four regions indicate that the heat source tower heat pump system can achieve different heating and cooling effects in different regions. This indicates that the proposed comprehensive evaluation model for the applicability of heat source tower heat pumps based on this improved method has good evaluation results. It can conduct a good analysis of the applicability of the heat source tower heat pump system, providing effective support for developing reasonable and energy-saving refrigeration and heating methods in different regions. Abstract: Effectively assessing public preferences for air quality improvement policies is extremely important to environmental policy formulation, but developing policies that cater to public tastes is a great challenge. Although the random parameters logit (RPL) model in the choice experiment is widely used in relevant studies, it remains limited in revealing additional preference heterogeneity. Given this, the study applies two extended models in exploring public preference heterogeneity for air quality policies. An RPL model with heterogeneity in means and variances (RPL-HMV) and an RPL model with correlated random parameters (RPL-CRP) are used to provide more beneficial insights for policy analysis. The …study shows that better-educated groups are more willing to pay for increasing urban green coverage, and income increases the randomness of such preferences’ distribution among groups. From the perspective of preferences, reducing heavy pollution days is positively associated with decreasing morbidity of respiratory diseases caused by outdoor air pollution and negatively correlated with improving urban green coverage. In addition, compared to the RPL-CRP model, the willingness to pay in the RPL model is overestimated by 14.72%. The study further clarifies public preferences for air quality policies, and the extra information revealed by extended models provides more valuable references for policy-making. Show more

Abstract: The particulate matter samples of gasoline direction injection (GDI) gasoline engine obtained from road experiments are photographed to obtain the emission particulate matter images based on the transmission electron microscope under high altitude environment. The results show that the micro-morphology characteristics of the particulate matter emitted by GDI gasoline engine in plateau area are similar to those in low altitude area, and the main morphology is cloud-like, filamentous, flocculent, chain-like, cluster-like, like altitude contour line, etc. The images are processed by MATLAB and Python software, and the fractal dimension, average gray value and gray histogram are obtained. The fractal dimensions …of the emission particulate data obtained are between 1.81 and 1.89, which has some deviation compared with the fractal dimension of the emission particulate data at low altitude of 1.58 and 1.80. With the increase of altitude, its fractal dimension increases more obviously. It can be seem from the characteristics of gray value and gray histogram of particle images that the average gray value of GDI gasoline engine particles is higher. The gray histogram distribution of 5–50 nm images is uniform, and the individual particles in the images are clear. The gray histogram of 100–500 nm images is scattered, so it is easy to extract and separate the image edge contour. 5–50 nm images are used to study the details and characteristics of individual particles, and 100–500 nm transmission electron microscope images are used to study the overall morphology of particles. Abstract: A time series prediction model was developed to predict the number of confirmed cases from October 2022 to November 2022 based on the number of confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia from January 20, 2021 to September 20, 2022. We will analyze the number of confirmed cases in the Philippines from January 1, 2020 to September 20, 2022 to build a prediction model and make predictions. Among the works of other scholars, it can be shown that time series is an excellent forecasting model, particularly around dates. The study in this work begins with the original data for inference, and …each phase of inference is based on objective criteria, such as smooth data analysis utilising ADF detection and ACF graph analysis, and so on. When comparing the performance of algorithms with functions for time series models, hundreds of algorithms are evaluated one by one on the basis of the same data source in order to find the best method. Following the acquisition of the methods, ADF detection and ACF graph analysis are undertaken to validate them, resulting in a closed-loop research. Although the dataset in this study was generated from publicly available data from the Philippines (our data world for coronaviruses), the ARIMA model used to predict data beyond September 20, 2022 exhibited unusually high accuracy. This model was used to compare the performance of several algorithms, each evaluated using the same training data. Finally, the best R2 for the ARIMA model was 92.56% or higher, and iterative optimization of the function produced a predictive model with an R2 of 97.6%. This reveals the potential trajectory of coronaviruses in the Philippines. Finally, the model with the greatest performance is chosen as the prediction model. In actual implementations, several subjective and objective elements, such as the government’s epidemic defence measures, the worldwide pandemic condition, and whether the data source distributes the data in a timely way, might restrict the prediction’s accuracy. Such prediction findings can be used as a foundation for data releases by health agencies. Show more

Abstract: Design and implementation of the system for retrieving information about mathematical formulas – MFIRS. The structure of the system is mainly divided into the modules: input normalization, mathematical formula unification, mathematical formula encoding, text information feature extraction, mathematical formula feature extraction, mathematical formula indexing, retrieval and ranking. A method for extracting mathematical formulas and keywords based on FastText word embedding technology is proposed. This method can be used not only to get the structural features of the formula, but also to facilitate the calculation of the similarity of the formula by the vector result. At the same time, the model …introduces the semantic features of context-rich mathematical formulas to improve the domain correlation of search results. The MathRetEval dataset was created based on about 7.9 × 10 5 arXiv documents and about 1.5 × 10 8 mathematical formulas. The scalability of the system is verified using this data set. The mathematical formulas can be written in the language TEX or MathML. When queried in the TEX language, it can be converted to a tree representation of the MathML representation and then indexed. Abstract: The rapid development of renewable energy has also had an impact on the flexibility of multi energy systems such as electricity, heat, and gas. To analyze the flexible characteristics of multi energy systems at multiple time scales, a multi-scale flexibility evaluation method based on morphological decomposition is proposed. The net load curve is decomposed using mathematical morphology methods, and a multi-scale energy storage configuration method based on the flexibility of electric heating systems is proposed. The analysis data shows that the probability of insufficient upward flexibility, margin expectation, and insufficient expectation of the scale weighted flexibility index are 1.12%, 3.98%, …and 1.16%, respectively, while the probability of insufficient downward flexibility, margin expectation, and insufficient expectation are 0.73%, 4.54%, and 0.56%, respectively. The introduction of energy storage and controllable load simultaneously results in an overall downward flexibility index of 0.92% for the system. Abstract: There are many kinds of Marine organisms and their biological forms differ greatly, so it is difficult to guarantee the accuracy of artificial species identification, which brings great challenges to the work of Marine species identification. In this paper, we propose a recognition method of Marine biological image classification using residual neural network, redefining convolution layer and using batch regularization to avoid gradient parameter disorder. Abstract: The performance-related pay system in colleges and universities is one of the hot spots in the reform of the wage system in colleges and universities in recent years. It is an important measure to improve the quality of education and teaching in colleges and universities and the construction of talent teams. However, there are many problems in the performance-related pay system of colleges and universities, such as unreasonable evaluation indicators, unfair weight distribution, etc., which makes it difficult to accurately reflect the work performance of teachers and staff in the measurement of performance-related pay. Based on this background and trend, …this paper conducted an in-depth discussion on the salary system in China’s colleges and universities, and used the support vector regression algorithm to study the performance-based salary management of colleges and universities based on linear programming and mathematical statistics. The research showed that with other conditions remaining unchanged, the proportions of primary, intermediate, deputy and senior high school students who were dissatisfied with the system of performance-based pay in colleges and universities were 82%, 57%, 46%, and 9%, respectively. After applying linear programming and mathematical statistics, the proportions of elementary, intermediate, sub-high and ortho-high became 1%, 2%, 5% and 7% respectively. Abstract: For signal transmission of mud pressure waves in logging-while-drilling systems, as more measurement parameters are adopted, the conventional signal transmission rate of approximately 1 bps cannot meet the requirements of parameter uploading. Transmission rates greater than 10 bps are widely used by current Chinese and international enterprises in their continuous wave transmission systems. Due to the increasing transmission rates, a conventional single-channel pressure sensor cannot effectively identify the key features of an original signal with a low signal-to-noise ratio at a high transmission rate. This issue results in a low success rate for pressure wave recognition and decoding. This paper …addresses a method for the collection of pressure wave signals using multi-channel pressure sensors through the analysis of the signal transmission changes of mud pressure waves with well depths and echo interference caused by drilling rod reflection. In this research, numerical simulation and experimental verification were used to calculate the cross-correlations of the multi-channel signals to effectively remove interference noises such as reflective waves and improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the original signal. The results showed that this method could effectively improve the SNR after the wave filtering of the original pressure wave. The characteristics of the continuous mud pressure wave signals were analysed using a circulation test. A corresponding band-pass filter was designed to remove pump noises to restore the sinusoidal pressure wave signal required by the original transmission rules. Show more

Abstract: The key to the reform of the power system is to design a fair bidding and trading system. Analyzing the transaction process of electricity price competition, suppressing market power and other unfavorable factors, and finding a perfect bidding system are the research goals of this paper. In order to study the competition in the power spot market and power contract market, this paper employs the game model of complete information and the game theory as a tool. The power spot market adopts the Market Clearing Price (MCP) settlement method, in which the power grid determines the maximal real-time price of …the generator node as the MCP. The price is based on the three bidding strategy curves of the power plant. As a result, a Nash equilibrium of power plant revenue is formed. According to the Cournot model and Stackelberg model that analyze the power contract market, the long-term equilibrium price of Stackelberg model in the power contract market is higher than that of the perfectly competitive market and less than or equal to the output of perfect monopoly market. The long-term equilibrium price and output in the power contract market are both certain and stable. This paper has analyzed the static game of complete information in the power market and carried out practical application. The results show that the bidding strategies of power plants have a Nash equilibrium and they have an incentive to collude. The MCP mechanism cannot solve the problem of market power influence. The conclusion of the research provides a basis for the design of the power hybrid auction system. Show more

Abstract: Predicting students’ course grades is an essential element in teaching. This paper used decision tree generation rules to study the prediction of students’ ideological and political course grades. Firstly, ID3 and C4.5 algorithms were briefly introduced; then, an improved C4.5 algorithm with higher computational efficiency was put forward. The formula of the C4.5 algorithm was optimized using theories such as the Taylor series. Finally, experiments were performed on the UCI dataset and students’ ideological and political course datasets. The results suggested that the average classification accuracy and computation time of the improved C4.5 algorithm was 79.37% and 74.1 ms, respectively, …on the UCI dataset, which was better than the traditional C4.5 algorithm. Then, the experiment predicting students’ course grades demonstrated that the average quiz grade and the number of video views had the greatest impact on the final grades. The prediction accuracy of the improved C4.5 algorithm reached 93.46%, and the average computation time was 54.8 ms, which was 19.17% less than the C4.5 algorithm. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of the generation rule of the improved C4.5 algorithm in predicting students’ ideological and political course grades. This algorithm can be applied in the actual grade prediction. Show more

Abstract: Speech enhancement is essential for hearing aids. In recent years, many speech enhancement methods based on deep learning have been proven to be effective. However, these speech enhancement methods rarely consider limited hardware resources and have difficulty meeting real-time requirements, which is very important for hearing aids. To solve the above problems, we propose a method that combines beamforming and speech enhancement methods based on deep learning. Beamforming is used to filter background noise and reduce the complexity of noise. Additionally, a new filter bank used in hearing aids is adopted to reduce the complexity of the system. The system …was deployed and tested in resource-constrained hearing aids. The effectiveness of the method was verified by objective experiments using standard evaluation indicators. The results showed that the power was 8.43 mA, the signal-to-noise ratio improved by 9.4394 dB, and the PESQ improved by 0.7350. The presented objective and subjective results show that the proposed method achieves better noise suppression than previous methods. Show more

Abstract: With the continuous emergence of new technologies and the efficient and convenient development of people’s daily life and work, the topic of intelligent building is becoming more and more hot. There are two kinds of data in intelligent building, namely static data and dynamic data. The digital expression of intelligent building is realized through the fusion and interaction of these two kinds of data. The building information model (BIM) stores a large amount of static data, including size, material, color and other data, while the Internet of Things (IoT) collects real-time dynamic data, including temperature, humidity, light and other data, …through sensors in every space within the building. The related problems of building data management in the design and operation and maintenance stages mainly include data collection relying on manual work, low data processing efficiency, scattered and disorderly data storage, difficult data interaction, slow speed, and low data visualization. In order to solve these problems, this paper combines the characteristics and advantages of BIM and IoT technology, analyzes the interaction and application value of BIM and IoT technology in the design and operation and maintenance stage of intelligent buildings, and constructs a data management system based on the Internet of things, a 3D visualization technology based on BIM, and an operation and maintenance management platform based on BIM and IoT. The application of BIM and IoT technology in the design and operation and maintenance stage of intelligent buildings has promoted the development of the construction industry. The Internet of Things can provide many functional services, such as real-time monitoring, remote tracking, automatic update, plan management and a series of personalized services and management, to achieve the management, control and detection of various things, and ensure the high-speed and effective operation of the system. Abstract: A fourth-order partial differential model in this paper is called the thin-film equation in the field of fluid theory. The existence of the weak solution is obtained by solving two approximation problems. In order to perform the limit for small parameters in the approximation problems, the Galerkin method and the entropy functional method are both used. By means of some classical compactness results we can give the existence of nonnegative weak solutions. Finally, by redefining the entropy functional, the long-time exponential decay is given in the sense of L 1 -norm.

Abstract: Thermoelectric technology is commonly used in waste heat utilization of automotive internal combustion engines and widely combined with solar energy units to form solar thermoelectric generator systems. The structure of the Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) needs to be optimized in order to obtain better performance for wider applications. In this paper, the influence of temperature on the height of PN-type thermoelectric arms was analyzed using an improved one-dimensional heat conduction model with the calculus method. At the same time, both the calculation formula of the maximum output power and the calculation formula of various size parameters of the TEG was derived …when the influence of temperature on the performance of thermoelectric materials has been considered. In addition, the relationships among different size parameters were derived to obtain the maximum efficiency. The relationships include the most commonly used classical optimization relationship, that is, when the Seebeck coefficient, thermal conductivity and resistivity are averaged, the relationship is consistent with the classical optimization relationship. By considering the impact of temperature on the performance of thermoelectric materials, an improved calculation formula of the figure of merit (Z) was also given. The new optimization formula was compared with the classical optimization method by taking the maximum output power as the optimization index. In the case study, the temperatures of the cold end and the hot end were set at 330 K and 700 K, respectively. PbTe and PbSe were used as the materials with intermediate temperature, and Bi 2 Te 3 was used as the material with low temperature. Through theoretical analysis, it is found that the maximum output power of the new optimization formula can be higher than that of the classical optimization formula. Show more

Abstract: With the development of Internet of Things and fuzzy control theory, there are new opportunities for the conservation and utilization of museum artifacts. The traditional way of heritage restoration lacks the overall harmony of heritage restoration, which leads to the stagnation of heritage restoration level. At the same time, traditional heritage conservation is also limited to manual management, which seriously hinders the development of the overall level of museums. Artifacts are of great commemorative and research value and are objects that have been handed down to mankind for thousands of years and have been subjected to the natural environment for …a long time before being excavated. Heritage conservation requires not only restoring artifacts to the greatest extent possible, but also securing the environment in which they are displayed and stored to ensure that they can be preserved for as long as possible. But the following problems exist in the conservation of cultural relics (1) the lack of strict standards for the environment in which cultural relics are stored. (2) the professional competence of the staff is not strong. (3) The lack of a strict management system (4) heritage conservation technology is backward. To solve these problems our team constructed a fuzzy control method based on fuzzy control theory to assist in the restoration of cultural relics. The model constructed by fuzzy control theory solves this problem. The fuzzy control theory constructs a model for restoration of cultural relics, taking into account the overall harmony of the relics and the accuracy of the points, which is of great significance for the restoration of museum relics. At the same time through the Internet of Things technology to build a library heritage protection system, the main content of the system is (1) the use of Internet of Things technology to build a security protection system for cultural relics (2) the use of Internet of Things technology to detect the storage environment of cultural relics (3) the use of Internet of Things technology to optimize the management process of cultural relics (4) the use of Internet of Things technology to achieve real-time monitoring of the flow of information on cultural relics. And based on this, suggestions are made to (1) improve the museum heritage protection and utilization system (2) improve the infrastructure of museum heritage protection and build a good environment for heritage storage (3) improve the quality of heritage managers. The model constructed in the article has been tested in practice and is feasible, with certain practical and theoretical values. Show more

Abstract: The rapid development of urbanization has led to the gradual increase of urban residential density. Relatively speaking, the spectrum resources are increasingly scarce, which leads to the increasingly serious interference between communities, and the system performance is also greatly limited. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of spectrum resources and solve the problem of user interference between cells, the experiment combines the advantages of clustering by fast search and find of Density Peaks Clustering (DPC), and proposes a two-step clustering algorithm. This method is proposed based on the core idea of DPC after in-depth study of the downlink multi-cell …orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system architecture. The proposed model is compared with Matching Pursuit (MP) algorithm and Graph-based algorithm with the sum of clustering distance R s , 1.5 R s . The results show that the two-step clustering algorithm can significantly improve the spectrum efficiency and network capacity while ensuring good quality of service under the condition of channel tension or not. Abstract: This paper aims to improve the efficacy assessment of County-level Integrated Health Organizations (CIHOs) in China. By analyzing CIHOs in Fujian Province, an empirical study was done to confirm the efficacy of the combined weighted-grey synthetic evaluation approach. The combined weights of evaluation indicators are calculated using the suggested method, which combines the analytical network process method and the coefficient of variation method. The grey center points of the CIHOs to be evaluated are determined, the whitenization weight functions is constructed, a comprehensive evaluation matrix is established, and then the composite score values are calculated and ranked. A more thorough …evaluation of CIHOs can be accomplished scientifically using this comprehensive approach. Show more

Abstract: The use of flexible resource information on the user side helps to increase system efficiency. Power system power variation becomes more pronounced with the access to renewable resources. Therefore, the study proposes a parameter identification and modeling method for the physical and social integration characteristics of flexible resource information on the user side. Taking the user’s air conditioning load as the object, the thermal dynamic model of the air conditioning building is constructed using equivalent thermal parameters, and the variable frequency air conditioning load is embedded in the battery model. The model parameter identification is carried out using high-dimensional model …expression technology. According to the experimental data, in options 2 and 3, the system operator makes power purchases based on the storage status of the lithium battery or virtual battery, increasing the number of power purchases when the price of electricity is low and decreasing the number of power purchases when the price of electricity is high. This effectively reduces the system operator’s electricity costs. The error of multiple linear regression modelling varies widely, with relative errors up to 0.75 and an average relative error of 15.1%. The relative error of modelling based on the high-dimensional model expression technique is in the range of 0 to 0.2, with an average relative error of 5.5%. The results show that compared with multiple linear regression models, high-dimensional model representation technology has higher modeling accuracy and can accurately identify the parameters of the air conditioning load aggregation model, solving the problem of difficult parameter calculation in the practical application of the air conditioning load aggregation model, and providing technical support for power system regulation. Abstract: A temperature sensor based on the combination of a temperature variable oscillator and a linear controlled oscillator is proposed, which can realize temperature detection through the characteristic of frequency changing with temperature. The changing frequency is generated by the two oscillators, and by adjusting the frequency linear change, the linearity of the sensor is also increased. Through the frequency digitizer, the digital signal can be output. Compensation through a process compensator improves the accuracy of the sensor after a single point correction. After conducting tests on 15 experimental samples, the accuracy was achieved within ± 1.2 ∘ …C across the temperature range of 0 to 125 ∘ C, demonstrating a highly favorable level of precision.
