The aim of the International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics is to contribute to intersciences coupling applied electromagnetics, mechanics and materials. Abstract: This paper presents a method for specifying the magnetostrictive vibrations of the transformer cores operating with different submagnetizing of DC flux (for the flow of DC flux through magnetic circuit and as a yoke flux) and for different values of supply voltage (flux density in the core). The theoretical method to determine the content of higher harmonics of magnetostrictive vibrations of the cores was developed. The computation and corresponding measurements were performed for single phase and three phase, three and five legs transformer cores. The discussion was carried out in the frequency range from 50 to 1000 Hz.
