Abstract: This paper proposes the method to establish of the prediction system of chest skin motion with SSA method. The Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) was applied for the prediction of time series data. A simulation system was developed to predict the location of some points of chest skin during breathing. CCD camera motion capture system (KEYENCE, CV-035C) was used to get the time series data. The prediction results showed good agreement with the measured data and they showed hopeful possibility to realize the chasing radiotherapy technique.
Keywords: Radiotherapy, singular spectral analysis, time-series data prediction
