Abstract: The case study aims to explore the usability of library services through smartphones by the students of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow–Noida Campus (IIM LNC). A survey was conducted through a well-structured questionnaire, prepared through Google Forms, sent to total 286 students, currently studying at IIM LNC in postgraduate, executive, and doctoral courses. The data collected was analySed through Google sheets and presented in the form of pie charts and tables. The findings of the study clearly show that the students are keen to use the library services through a smartphone. They very well received the services suggested by the author and expect that the quality of services will improve with the use of mobile technology. The study was confined to the smartphone usage for library services by the students of IIM LNC only. The study highlights the IIM LNC students’ overview and expectations regarding the use of smartphones by the library for enhancing the quality of its services.
