Revolution Boon to Meet the Imminent Challenges in Virtual Epoch of Library

Abstract: The research objective behind this article is to seek the satisfaction and users’ experiences regarding the utility and quality impact of library services after developing a single gateway for harnessing of library resources and services by dint of Google Sites. The responses to the structured questionnaire (prepared for the purpose in print and e-format) revealed the level of knowledge of majority of the students and staff about the pivotal role of the library website towards accessibility, relevance, accuracy, and service design of library resources. There were a number of suggestions regarding how to develop library sites for optimum harnessing of resources and services. The key role of library professionals in providing optimum information in optimum time at the desired place and least cost has also been explored. The pivotal role of the research to inspire library and information science professionals in order to build user centric models by the dint of such type of tools and create a milestone among the intellectual community forms the focus of the article.
