From the Editor
As I write this From the Editor, three of our graduate students in the Boston University online post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy program will give their doctoral defense today. Participating in a doctoral defense is a rite of passage, an event marking that they have completed their years of doctoral work and have earned the honor of being called Dr. Their topics are: Yogatise - An On-line Yoga Program for Children and Youth with Disabilities (B. Inirio); Switching on Engagement!: Occupational Therapy & Assistive Technology in the Classroom (M. Reilly); and Back2Basics: Mental Health Building Blocks for Learning (J. Marfia). If any of these topics are of interest to you, they can be found at the Boston University’s Mugar Library.
Another rite of passage is that with this issue, WORK is entering its 31st year! This issue contains 25 manuscripts on a variety of topics such as telehealth in occupational therapy; the investigation of the effect of smartphone addiction; noise pollution; sleep quality; among many other interesting subjects including eight articles related to the pandemic.
