Abstract: Some errors have been observed in the analytical expression for the resistance to flow (λR), and in the computation of shear stress distribution (τR) in the analysis of Prawal Sinha and Chandan Singh (1). These errors have been rectified in the present analysis. Also, better values have been suggested for the couple stress parameter α¯ for getting better results for λR and τR.
