Erratum to: Use of big data for official environment statistics: The measurement of extent and quality of freshwater ecosystems

Page 959 (section 3) currently reads: While freshwater ecosystems hold less than 1 per cent of all water on Earth and cover just 0.8 per cent of the Earth’s surface [9], these ecosystems harbour exceptional diversity, hosting 40 per cent of all plant and animal species, including more fish species than have been found in the world’s oceans [10]. This is incorrect and should read 10 per cent (and not 40) so it should read:

While freshwater ecosystems hold less than 1 per cent of all water on Earth and cover just 0.8 per cent of the Earth’s surface [9], these ecosystems harbour exceptional diversity, hosting 10 per cent of all plant and animal species, including more fish species than have been found in the world’s oceans [10].
