Abstract: We report a girl with opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome related to
cerebral rubella infection that relapsed during adrenocorticotropin monotherapy
but stabilized with methotrexate add-on treatment. Methotrexate may be a new
therapeutic option in opsoclonus-myoclonus syndrome, reducing the need for
long-term high-dose adrenocorticotropin treatment and the risk of
steroid-related side effects.
