Abstract: Elevated cerebral lactate is increasingly detected by magnetic resonance spectroscopy in the human fetus diagnosed with various pathologic conditions. However, the significance of detectable cerebral lactate remains uncertain. We present two cases of fetal cerebral lactate with adverse pregnancy outcomes.
