The article “Study of the bullet rifling linear traces matching technology based on deep learning” by Nan Pan et al., originally published in Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, vol. 40, no. 4, pp. 7951–7956, 2021 (DOI: 10.3233/JIFS-189617) has been retracted at the initiative of the authors. The authors stated that a Chinese language version of the article had already been published but that the authors had not secured the rights to publish an English translation of the work. The article was published as version of record on 12 April 2021 and retracted in April 2023. The publisher has updated the original online PDF with the word “RETRACTED” watermarked over every page of the article.
