Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to propose a new symmetric fuzzy divergence measure for solving the decision making problems. Proposed fuzzy divergence measure is studied along with its proof of validity. The competence is presented by some desirable properties of the proposed measure have been investigated. Finally, its applications in case study of Multi criteria decision making has been explained to choose the best market for investment to avoid the risk factor, Medical diagnosis has been discussed to determine the possible disease suffered by any patient. An illustrative example has been studied to show the proposed function is more reasonable in the decision-making process than other previous measures.
