Abstract: The study of attribute reductions is one of the main problems in information systems. In this paper, multi-granulation variable precision rough set (for short, MVPRS) model is introduced. Several kinds of attribute reduction in an inconsistent decision information system based on this model are proposed. Relationships among these attribute reductions given. Some examples are given to illustrate that the unmentioned relationships among these attribute reductions are often not maintained.
