Intelligent bush fire spread prediction using fuzzy cellular automata

Abstract: In this paper, we wish to present a practical approach to modelling the shape of a wild bush fire using fuzzy logic and cellular automata (CA). In this way, the time consuming measurements, which are used as input data for the statistical modelling approach, could be exchanged with uncertain knowledge built in to the decision structure.
