Abstract: In this article, a computational approach using the modified extended direct algebraic method has been successfully implemented to construct the travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations of fractional order. For this, the fractional complex transformation method helps to convert fractional order partial differential equation to ordinary differential equation. Then, the modified extended direct algebraic method has been used, with the aid of maple, to celebrate the complex travelling wave solutions for a class of evolution equations of fractional order.
