Abstract: At present, there are many problems in BIM monitoring of construction quality of large-scale construction projects. For example, it is easy to be affected by temperature and construction materials, which leads to errors in monitoring data, and then leads to unstable construction quality. In order to optimize the construction quality and efficiency of large-scale construction projects, a BIM (Building Information Modeling) monitoring model of construction quality of large-scale construction projects based on information technology is constructed. This model can solve the problem of low data quality in traditional BIM monitoring, thus ensuring the accuracy of monitoring results and ultimately improving the construction quality and efficiency of the project. The implementation steps of the model are as follows: After the user logs in the application program of the model on the computer side, the system function layer of the model selects the quality management function program. The data model layer combines the program selected by the user, extracts the model through the BIM monitoring data of construction quality based on the main crawler technology in the basic support layer, retrieves the construction quality monitoring data, and judges the fidelity of the data through the information synergy evaluation method of the construction quality chain model based on information technology. The qualified monitoring data are buffered and sent to the system function layer. The function layer evaluates the construction quality in combination with the monitored construction data and feeds it back to the user to realize BIM monitoring of construction quality. The test shows that after the model is applied, the qualified rate of construction quality of large-scale construction projects increases by 0.05%, and the total construction period is reduced by 5 days. The above results show that the construction quality BIM monitoring model of large-scale construction projects based on information technology can effectively improve the construction quality of large-scale construction projects, shorten the construction period, improve the construction efficiency, and play a positive role in the development of China’s construction industry.
