Abstract: In the paper, a new numerical technique of mean flow exposure to acoustic irradiation is proposed to study the spectral properties of a flow. The method concludes in the implementation of numerical experiment consisting of the examination of noise responses from white noise radiation emitted from artificial noise sources. The technique is applied to investigating the flows over a 2D rectangular cavity and a 3D rectangular groove.
