Abstract: A set of computer algorithms and programs for mathematical simulation of energy deposition and relaxation after fast ion passage through matter has been developed. It allows one to estimate some of the important physical characteristics of the track formation process including track radius values (within the framework of the thermal-spike model).
Keywords: Mathematical simulation, nuclear track, thermal-spike model
