On page 1769, left column, line 8, the following method of patient allocation is incorrectly given: “participants were assigned to the AS or placebo group using an alternating quasi-randomization allocation method.”

However, the following method was actually used: “non-alternating quasi-randomization allocation method”. With this method the controller, other researchers, and physicians do not know which group the next participants would be assigned to.
