Abstract: The evolution of a meaningful user/information provider dialogue is suggested in the context of an active user group's (Southern California OnlineUser Group-SCOUG) experience. The goal of achieving user defined quality assurance is put forward as an end with the means of such an achievement left to the assumption of responsibilities and quality obligations.
