Abstract: The existing economic theories perceive the economy as a system of commodities and aggregates while applying the methodology of natural sciences. Humanomics perceives the economy as a system of thinking humans, consequently as a creation of humans. The theory of Humanomics as well as its methodology are being derived from this specific subject matter which is different in every respect from the subject matter natural sciences are dealing with. Humanomics is concerned with the problem of orientation of the socio-economic system towards humane goals.
