The corresponding author requested retraction of the article. According to the author, “the results indicated that Notch1 and LINC01638 overexpression promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion in 22Rv1 and DU145 cells, while LINC01638 knockdown significantly suppressed the proliferation, migration and invasion. However, we found that we cannot repeat the results in subsequent experiments, and the result is even opposite after Notch1 and LINC01638 knockdown in another prostate carcinoma cell line (PC3). We cannot determine the direct target RNAs, miRNAs or interaction proteins for LINC01638. Therefore, this study still needs further RNA-seq or mass spectrometry to determine the direct mRNAs, miRNAs and proteins regulated by LINC01638, and to verify through overexpression, knockdown or rescue experiments.”
