Abstract: Phyllodes tumor of the male breast is an extremely rare entity with only a few reports available in the literature. Though exact etiology for development of phyllodes tumor in the male breast is unknown, hormonal imbalance with excess of estrogen action relative to androgen appears to have significant association. This report describes recurrence of phyllodes tumor with malignant features developing in the background of gynaecomastia in a male breast.
