Hypoglycemia associated with brain damage: a case report

Abstract: We report a case of a 7-month-old infant with serial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmation of the neonatal hypoglycemia induced brain damage. Cranial MRI on day 17 revealed T1 and T2 prolongation of cortical and white matter in the parietal and occipital lobes bilaterally.
