Abstract: In this paper, by means of implication operator → in a completely distributive lattice M , we define degrees of (L , M )-fuzzy convex structures, (L , M )-fuzzy closure systems and (L , M )-fuzzy Alexandrov topologies. Moreover, We discuss some properties of the degree of (L , M )-fuzzy convex spaces, the relations between the degree of (L , M )-fuzzy convex structures and the degree of (L , M )-fuzzy closure systems, and the relations between the degree of (L , M )-fuzzy convex structures and the degree of (L , M )-fuzzy Alexandrov topologies.

Abstract: Due to proliferation of competitive online Business-to-Consumer (B2C) models, it is becoming a challenging task for new users to choose best products, based on existing users’ reviews residing on different e-commerce websites. On analysis, it is found that the opinions of the existing customers play an important role for new customers in making appropriate purchase decisions. Though there are some online websites that provide aggregation of basic product information from multiple sources, there is a negligible research effort in the direction of opinion-based product ranking. In this paper, we propose an Opinion-based Multi-Criteria Ranking (OMCR ) approach, which amalgamates structural …and content-based features of review documents to rank different alternatives of the online products. It uses a total number of five features based on reviews’ meta-data and contents to rank different alternatives using multi-criteria decision making approaches. OMCR also incorporates a sentiment analysis and visualization approach to determine sentiment polarity values and visualize them in a comprehendible manner. Experiments are conducted over two different real datasets, and efficacy of OMCR is assessed using set intersection method, which is generally used to compare two ranked lists in terms of their overlapping score. Abstract: In this paper, we propose the theory of possibility Pythagorean fuzzy soft set and define some related the operations concerning this notion including the complement, union, intersection, AND and OR. Then a similarity measure is introduced to compare two possibility Pythagorean fuzzy soft sets for dealing with decision problems. Finally, a practical example is provided to illustrate the validity of this similarity measure in decision making problem.

Abstract: The market-oriented rail operation planning and pricing are two key issues to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of rail sector. A limitation of the state-of-the-art in this area of research is that supply-side (operation planning) and demand-side issues (affected by the pricing) are generally considered separately. The contribution of this paper is to propose a revenue-maximization model that integrates these two dimensions, based on dynamic ticket-pricing, elasticity in passenger demand, and flexible dispatching. The model considers both operating costs directly borne by the rail service operator and costs indirectly incurred by passengers due to the disutility of unproductive travel time …(i.e. the value of time). The strategy to identify the profit-maximizing joint pricing/dispatching strategy is based on Lyapunov optimization. The Lyapunov optimization is applied to obtain a fully distributed and low-complexity multi-slot algorithm only requiring knowledge of the instantaneous system state. We prove the explicit trade-off between the optimization objective and queue backlog. The Guangzhou-Shenzhen railway (Guangdong, China) is employed as the empirical case study, to expose the properties of the proposed model. Show more

Abstract: Connectivity incorporates a significant role in various abstract and applied mathematical modeling and decision analysis. Graphical networks can be studied more precisely in connection with directed influenced flows, emphasizing the need of a mathematical approach for connectivity analysis. Our main focus in this research study is to generalize the concept of connectivity of fuzzy graphs to rough fuzzy digraphs (RFDs). We introduce the strength of connectedness between vertices, present different types of arcs in RFDs and investigate their properties. Moreover, we discuss the measures of connectivity, connectivity index, average connectivity index and isomorphism properties of partial rough fuzzy subdigraphs and …spanning rough fuzzy subdigraphs. We apply various measures of connectivity to real world networks and with the help of connectivity reducing vertices, connectivity enhancing vertices and neutral vertices, we identify the most effective countries for human trafficking. Finally, we design an algorithm to describe the method discussed in the real world problem. Show more

Abstract: In this paper, the concept of asymptotically lacunary I 2 -invariant equivalence, the concepts of asymptotically lacunary σ 2 -equivalence and the concept of asymptotically lacunary invariant S 2 -equivalence for double sequences are defined. In addition, some relationships were obtained among these new equivalence concepts.

Abstract: The Lorentzian manifold theory is an important research object in mathematical physics. In this paper, we propose four generalized Lorentzian-like knowledge measures deduced by the Lorentzian inner product for intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Some theorems are given to show the properties of the constructed knowledge measures. Compared with some other knowledge measures, we point out that there exists some counterexamples for some knowledge measures in the frame of the axiom of entropy measure for intuitionistic fuzzy set defined by Szmidt and Kacprzyk. In order to reduce counterexamples, we give some modified orders which extend the definition of the classical order ⪯ …in the axiom. And the numerical experiments show that the modified orders are more general than the order ⪯ in a sense, such as the order ≾ can break the constraint that the two intuitionistic fuzzy sets with the order ⪯ must fall in the either side of the line y = x . It is noteworthy that these binary relations are not strict partially ordered relations, and the problem, constructing a universal partial order, is still open. At the end of the paper some numerical experiments show that the proposed knowledge measures work well on different datasets. Show more

Abstract: A big group decision making problem is investigated, under the intuitionistic fuzzy environment and multiple constrains. Firstly, this paper proposes a distance formula between different intuitionistic fuzzy numbers, to measure their dissimilarity degree. A numerical example is introduced to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed distance measure over the others’ formula. Secondly, an optimizing model is constructed to calculate the criteria’s weight values, making the proposed method suitable for weight unknown problems. Thirdly, clustering idea is introduced to handle big data caused by big decision group. Here, a clustering algorithm is given which could classify the participating people. Meanwhile, computer …experiments is utilized to handle the calculation question with respect to big data. Clustering result is based on many times of evolutions, which are obtained by a computer procedure. To derive final ranking results, an extended TOPSIS method is applied depending on the proposed distance measure and clustering results. In summary, a decision making algorithm is clearly shown in form of flow chart. Finally, an experimental analysis for selecting proper library construction is given to illustrate the efficiency and reasonableness of the proposed method. Show more

Abstract: An approximation space is one basic concept in rough set theory. This paper investigates measures of uncertainty for an approximation space from granular computing viewpoint. Granular structures of an approximation spaces are first described by means of set vectors. Then, relationships between granular structures of an approximation spaces are studied from the two aspects of dependence and separation. Next, properties of granular structures of an approximation space are given. Furthermore, as an application for granular structures of an approximation spaces, measuring uncertainty of approximation spaces is investigated. Finally, one example is employed to illustrate features of the proposed measures for …uncertainty of approximation spaces. These results will be helpful for understanding the essence of uncertainty for an approximation space. Show more
