Abstract: Soft set theory was first proposed by Molodtsov in 1999 as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainties. In this paper, we introduce the notion of soft Z -congruence relations and investigate several related properties. Furthermore, we obtain a one-to-one correspondence between soft Z -congruence relations and strong h -idealistic soft hemirings and a one-to-one correspondence between soft Z -congruence relations and soft strong h -ideals. Moreover, we show that the relationships between fuzzy congruence relations and soft congruence relations. Abstract: The aim of this paper is to lay a foundation for providing a rough soft tool in considering many problems that contain uncertainties. We put forward the concepts of rough soft rings and rough idealistic soft rings. Some basic operations on rough soft rings are discussed. Some good examples are explored. Special attention is paid to rough prime idealistic soft rings. Finally, we investigate some properties of products and sums of rough soft rings.

Abstract: In this paper, we first introduce the notion of Stonean implicative filter in Hilbert algebra and study it in detail. Finally, we introduce a Stonean Hilbert algebra and investigate its properties, we prove that, H is a Stonean Hilbert algebra if and only if the set of all regular elements of H is a Stonean Hilbert algebra. By the diagrams, we summarize the results of this paper and give the relationships between all types of filters in a Hilbert algebra. Also, we give the relationships between Hilbert algebra and some of algebraic structures.

Abstract: Recently, the notions of EIMTL-filters, associative filters, t -filters and I -filters were introduced in MTL-algebras and residuated lattices, respectively. In this paper, we consider these filters in residuated lattices and study some properties of them. We prove that t -filters and I -filters coincide in residuated lattices. The conditions under which an EIMTL-filter is a t -filter, and under which a residuated lattice has a proper associative filter are established. We also study the existence of a proper EIMTL-filter and prove that every maximal filter is an EIMTL-filter, and hence all residuated lattices have proper EIMTL-filters.

Abstract: This article proposes a novel stochastic framework based on point estimate method (PEM) and firefly algorithm (FA) for the optimal operation of plug-in electric vehicles (PVs) in the distribution systems. The stochastic problem will consider the uncertainties of active and reactive loads, the number of PVs in the fleets and the departure and arrival time at charging locations. According to the high complexity and severity of the problem, a new version of FA called θ -FA is used to search the solutions in the polar space instead of the traditional Cartesian space. Abstract: In decision making analysis, ranking decision with anti-noise capability is a very desirable issue. This paper focuses on analysing data in interval-valued information systems. A new approach ranking with weighted standardized cardinality (WSC) and inclusion indicator in interval-valued information systems is proposed. It is a novel generalization of ranking method based on dominance classes. The new approach overcomes the drawback of sensitivity to noise for raking using dominance classes-based method. In this paper, each object with all attribute values is regarded as an interval-valued fuzzy set (IVF-set). Firstly, to define a solution concept of Pareto-optimality for a multi-objective flexible linear programming (MOFLP) problem (or multi-objective fuzzy linear programming problem) and design a method to extract a Pareto-optimal solution of MOFLP problem from the set of optimal solutions of equivalent optimization problem formulated by Dubey and Mehra (2013). Abstract: To develop the human-centric driver fatigue monitoring system for automatic understanding and charactering of driver’s conditions, a novel, efficient feature extraction approach, named Local Multiresolution Derivative Pattern (LMDP), is proposed to describe the driver’s fatigue expression images, and the Intersection Kernel Support Vector Machines classifier is then exploited to recognize three pre-defined classes of fatigue expressions, i.e., awake expressions, moderate fatigue expressions and severe fatigue expressions. With features extracted from a fatigue expressions dataset created at Southeast University, the holdout and cross-validation experiments on fatigue expressions classification are conducted by the Intersection Kernel Support Vector Machines classifier, compared with three …commonly used classification methods including the k -nearest neighbor classifier, the multilayer perception classifier and the dissimilarity-based classifier. The experimental results of holdout and cross-validation showed that LMDP offers the better performance than Local Derivative Pattern, and the second order LMDP exceeds other order LMDP. With the second order LMDP and the Intersection Kernel Support Vector Machines classifier, the classification accuracies of the severe fatigue are over 90% in the holdout and cross-validation experiments, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed feature extraction method in automatically understanding the driver’s conditions towards the human-centric driver fatigue monitoring system. Abstract: Fuzzy matrices (FMs) play important role to model several uncertain systems. In FMs, it is assumed that the rows and columns are certain. But, in many real life situations it is seen that they are also uncertain.
