Abstract: In this paper we discuss methods of testing agreement when two observers or raters employ measurements on a continuous scale under a bivariate exponential distribution. The Downton's [4] bivariate exponential distribution model is used to derive the test procedures of intra-rater agreement. The operating characteristics of the proposed testing methods are evaluated using a simulation study. Some results of the simulation study based on a large sample size are presented.
