Abstract: Rheumatic fever has remained a health concern in some parts of the
world, particularly in developing countries. The diagnosis of the disease is
based on Jones criteria that consist of major and minor manifestations. The
existences of atypical presentation and accompanying diseases have been
reported in a number of rheumatic fever cases. We report a case of acute
rheumatic fever that was accompanied by pulmonary regurgitation and psychiatric
syndrome, which might be considered as parts of carditis and Sydenham chorea
respectively.
