Abstract: Lymphatic malformations are rare benign developmental anomalies of the lymphatic system that can be diagnosed by prenatal ultrasound. Depending on their anatomical site and size, the lesions can cause a variety of aesthetic and functional deficits. Several treatment options are available, the most suitable is still under debate. The experience gained at our Centre and the review of the literature can be useful to improve prenatal counseling, that is challenging due to the heterogeneity of clinical presentation and treatment.
