Abstract: Intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are very suitable to be used for depicting uncertain or fuzzy information. Motivated by the ideal of heavy aggregation operator, in this paper, we develop some heavy aggregation operators for aggregating intuitionistic fuzzy information, and then apply them to develop some models for decision making problems. Moreover, we shall extend these aggregation operators and decision making approaches to interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy environments, in which the input data take the form of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Finally, we give an illustrative example for strategic decision making problems to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its feasibility and practicality.
