Abstract: This paper empirically analyzes the influence of partners’ characteristics of university-industry on their network stability using projection pursuit model and multiple intermediary models. This paper also analyzes the mediating role of collaborative innovation and environmental integration. Based on the empirical results, this paper proposes two realization paths for the stability of university-industry coupling symbiotic network. Under the condition that the partners are compatible, the partners with the same goals and interests can realize the stable development of university-industry coupling symbiotic network through collaborative innovation. Under the condition that the partners are conflicting, the symbiosis environment can be integrated to gradually weaken the contradictions and conflicts, so as to realize the stable development of university-industry coupling symbiotic network.
