Abstract: CD-Rom based information products have rapidly established for themselves a place in the academic library and one of the most persuasive arguments in favour of CD-ROM has been their ease of use by end-users. However, without a commitment to a high level of support, CD-ROM may well be underutilized. This paper outlines some of the issues that need to be considered as part of this support.
