Abstract: This paper describes methods that can be applied to the analysis of demand for e-government services and presents the results of e-government demand study in St. Petersburg. In order to extend the knowledge of public expectations, we considered three groups of e-government stakeholders: civil servants, business, and nonprofit organizations. We further analyzed awareness of available e-government services among representatives of the three groups and their attitudes towards these offerings in St. Petersburg. Obtained results allow to formulate recommendations for further e-government development in St. Petersburg and can be extrapolated to other regions of the Russian Federation.
