The corresponding author contacted the editorial office requesting the article retraction due to substantial deficiencies in the experimental design, as well as mistakes in the experimental data that could not be modified. After receiving the author’s request, the publisher received anonymous allegations of image manipulation that were not refuted by the authors.

In this light the journal cannot condone publication of this paper and has decided to retract it from its online catalogue.
